Etched.. Upon My Heart {book review & giveaway!}

The past two weeks I have been pouring over this book and as I sit down to write a review, I am left almost speechless. I was running with a friend the other day and tried my very best to describe to her what the Lord was doing in my heart through this book. ahhh...I am positive I fumbled over my words-probably making no sense at all. I thought "how am I going to post a review??"

All that to say- It is an amazing book! Each chapter will leave you reflecting on your own life as Jill shares personal moments from hers.  These "moments that have already come and gone-the ones that have helped define who you are right now. Every day you're living a legacy as your children watch you in the midst of the moments."

You will meditate on how God has (or presently) etched love, significance  forgiveness, suffering, giving, prayer, faithfulness, and death upon YOUR HEART.

I have drawn closer to Him, undoubtly seeing His hand in my life chapter by chapter.

Even if you are looking for a devotional read or a read for a book club.. It would be perfect.
It is defintly one book you can take your time with and the Lord will do amazing things.

"As she writes, ' God will break our hearts, but He will hold the pieces, He will cradle us and redeem every tear we cry' "

I am blessed to be able to offer you a free copy! Just enter the giveaway below.
 If you can't wait- The book goes on sale TUESDAY the 22nd!
(fyi: this book is geared for woman of all walks of life. not mothers only :))

From About the Book:
Kelly’s touching emotional prose, written with remarkable honesty and tenderness, takes readers into the most private moments of her family’s life and deals realistically with the challenges she’s faced, such as a terminally ill son, an unfaithful husband, and the natural tension from raising Christian kids in a secular society. "Etched...Upon My Heart is an extension of my soul; the heartbeat of what I have learned thus far in my journey as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and child of God,” writes Kelly.

Praise of Etched...Upon My Heart
"Jill courageously allows us into the rawest moments of her personal journey, and invites us to join the process by which love is defined, fear becomes faith, and suffering becomes sovereign. Undoubtedly, if "moments are measured by depth, not by length", then the moments that you will spend reading ETCHED UPON MY HEART will serve as some of your most valuable..."
