The Good Book {Movie Review & Giveaway!}

This is a very unique movie of its kind. I am always skeptical of the acting in Christian movies because, (lets face it) budgets are probably small and those acting maybe are not 'schooled' enough.

Not so with The Good Book. There is one aspect of the movie that caught me by surprise, but I don't want to give it away- it makes the drama of the movie very stirring and thought provoking. There were a few scenes that hit home emotionally for me too.

The Good Book displays the truth that Gods word does not return void-

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:11

While the subject matter is not geared for small children, my 8 year old on up really enjoyed the movie. Many lives can be changed by the Word of God and sadly there are those who reject it.

I encourage you to see this film, even if it means switching gears -for one night- from your usual entertainment!

Good news, I am mailing one copy out to you! That is, if you win the Giveaway below. Spread the word. Many of these types of films don't get the attention deserved! :) Visit Faith Flix Films more movies.
